I barely paid attention to what Mr. Harrison was teaching dreading my eventual screw-up. I didn't have any knowledge about being a girl and it was sure to show sooner or later. I shuddered to think what would happen when I went to the restroom. If I didn't think about it I was sure I'd go into the boys restroom. I had heard that a girl had gone into the boys restroom on accident last year and was raped. I also heard that she had killed herself a couple months later in a rather gruesome way. I had the feeling that if I was raped I would kill myself as well.
I wrenched my mind from the thought of killing myself as the bell rang though I was still worrying about not knowing how to be a girl. I didn't even think about picking up my pack and a purse that had appeared on the back of the chair. I didn't think about what I was doing as I headed to the girls locker room for P.E. It was when I had opened my locker and was in the process of getting changed that I realized that I had basically been on autopilot and doing what a girl would normally do. It was then that Kelly Anderson came up to me and asked, "You are coming to my pool party Friday right?"
"Of course I am," I said smiling to her without thinking about it. "I bought a new bikini yesterday and I can't wait to show it off."
"That's great Sammi," Kelly said with a smile. "Oh and after I'm having a few girls staying for a sleepover and I would like it if you would stay for that as well." It might have been my imagination but it seemed like she had blushed a little bit when she said that.
I couldn't think of any reason why I wouldn't be able to attend the sleepover but I decided to be cautious and said, "I'll have to ask my mom but I would love to have a sleepover with you." That seemed to make her really happy as she went out to the gym. I followed her out as I had finished changing while we talked.
After we had a game of Dodge Ball (it was girls vs boys and it was girls who won most of the rounds) I automatically took a shower with the rest of the girls. Looking at Kelly's nude body gave me a warm feeling between my legs which led to a feeling of wanting something rubbing against it and maybe inside as well. I shook my head and finished with my shower as fast as I could. I didn't know what this feeling was exactly but I had a hunch it was what girls felt when they were sexually stimulated. It kind of weirded me out since as a boy I couldn't get anything close to being sexually stimulated but now as a girl I was. This had to be some sort of big cosmic joke being played on me.
As soon as I finished getting dressed it was time for lunch. I automatically went to the salad bar and started dishing up a light lunch. Evidently I was watching what I ate but I did get a protein shake for my drink. Once I had paid for it I went and sat with my sister and some other girls and immediately began talking about the boy bands I liked and which romance books I had read and liked. Then the topics turned to gossip about which girl was dating which guy and whether they should be or not and who was wearing the most horrid outfit. I found myself actually able to follow along with it and was participating in the discussions quite a bit. As the next bell rang I was more at ease with having become a girl. I still wanted to change back to a boy but at least I wouldn't be embarrassed by not knowing how to be a girl. It looked like the note took care of that little problem. But I had to get that note back and I didn't think I could do it alone. I would have to tell someone about it and what I wished for. Who could I trust though?
