Apparently Kyle wanted to relax or to bath in the afterglow of his complete triumph over the arrogant Jennifer Smith. Either way, Kyle soon found a bench looking over the pond in the park and took a seat. With revenge being the only thing running through the former cheerleader's head, Jennifer softly dropped her possessions from her arms to pick up a large stone by the path. Hefting the blunt and, more importantly, heavy object, the would-be killer awkwardly made her way up behind her target, finding the combination of her platforms and the rock throwing her balance off. As quietly as possible Jenn lifted the rock over her head, preparing to slam it into the back of Kyle's skull with every bit of strength her tiny body could muster.
It was at this moment a strong breeze came up from behind the reduced teen, causing her massive ponytails to flutter about and smack against her target while throwing off her balance even more. The startled Kyle whipped his head about just in time to allow him to jump out of the way of Jenn's attack. The large rock slipped from the girl's tiny gloved hands and slammed into the bench before bouncing off and away from her. Jennifer let out a scream of frustration before attempting to launch her diminutive body over the bench in order to tackle Kyle, with just as much success; her hips and legs completely failing to clear the backrest.
With a pained squeak Jennifer tumbled backwards and onto the ground, erupting into tears.
"I-I'm going to k-kill you!" even to Jennifer, the declaration sounded empty and weak. She briefly tried to stand before collapsing again, her body tired from the day’s injuries and emotional turmoil.
Kyle could only stare in mild aw at how much Jennifer's image had changed; the confident, proud, and arrogant Jennifer had vanished, leaving behind a pathetic shadow that seemed to desperately cling onto her past identity. It hadn't sunk into Kyle's head just how much those transformations had changed her life; while he had intellectually known, indeed, it was the reason he'd chosen to curse her in this manner, he was emotionally distanced from it. Seeing her crying and on the ground, clothes covered in dust and dirt from falling so much and her massive ponytails wrapped about her person, Kyle began to feel something he hadn't before.
