Nate and the others lead you out into the forest. The lights from the moon and the stars and the few cabin lights around begin to be swallowed up as you enter a thick forest. It gets so dark, in fact, that you can only see about a foot away from your face. When you mention this few of them laugh. You look around confusedly by this reaction. Nate explains that everyone they've ever turned says just about the same thing. You can feel a human hand rest on your shoulder.
"It'll get easier to see when you've turned." Nate explains "In the meantime just truest that we won't lead you astray." You suddenly feel yourself smacking into a tree "...too much." Nate replies. You can tell he's grinning and can hear even more laughter from those around you. You rub your forehead and give a bit of a glare to where you think Nate is standing.
"Sorry, buddy, we do the same thing to all the newbies." he says.
"I'll guide you." you hear Marilyn says and winds an arm around yours. After walking for awhile your vision improves. Either the forest is thinning or the clouds have passed from over the moon, but you can clearly see a clearing up ahead. You are guided to the center of the clearing. The weres surround you.
"You're gonna want to strip off those clothes, unless you're a fan of torn clothes." Nate tells you. You're a little embarrassed but you comply. The jovial atmosphere that among the group seems to have died down, though so there is no laughter. Then you see Marilyn and Nate shift into their own were forms. They're so fast that you barely even notice the change at all. One moment they're standing in their human forms and the next they're a frightening combination of man and beast before you.
The were that is Marilyn approaches you. She takes your hand in hers and draws your arm close to her mouth, but she waits. She explains to you that the moon must be just right for this. A few moments later and you hear Nate telling her to proceed. She opens her mouth and moves to sink her teeth into your exposed arm.
