Seeing as Jake had yet to officially step down as Vice President, shi had seen the news, and knew the importance of the Serum, so shi made hir way to Denver. "Sorry but none may see the governer."
"I am the Vice President. You step aside or you will be on the streets."
"Mr. Vice President." A lady walked up. "The Governor is meeting with the senate right now."
"On behalf the Serum, I know."
"Then you may go in."
Jake walked in and all stood up. "Please be seated and allow me to speak before you make a terrible mistake."
"Mr Vice President. Welcome." The Governor said.
"Thank you." Jake walked to the center of the room. "Look, before you make a big decision on the Serum, I emplore you listen. I first hand know what happened." Shi looks. "But this serum has done more good than bad."
"Mr Vice President, A CI employee almost caused...."
"He wasn't an employee. He was a man in need of changes who made a mistake. To take away this serum, you take away potential cures for AIDS, cancer, and any and all illnesses, and the joy on can experience when they change willingly. Look, I seen these outbreaks first hand but it isn't until you become a kat you feel a joy like this. Give CI a second chance, and forgive the man of the error he made. We make mistakes ourselves."
They all started speaking then nodded. "Mr. Vice President, you made a valid point. We do owe them for what they've done. Consider this the first warning. And the one responsible will face a fine or jail time. Let Maurice and Catherine Chakat know they need not fear, but from this day forth they call ahead or show themselves."
"Understand."
The Governor slammed the gavel. "Thank you sir from preventing a mass mistake."
Jake smiled and left and this went on air. Jake smiled and headed back home.

Jake returned home within two days. Shi walked right into the industries and instantly was greeted by a hug from Snowy and Maurice. "Thank you."
"Well, you guys are the ones in need of thanks. And lucky you have friends in high places." Jake smiled. "Just know, you must or those in charge must call in advace or show up in person. You can tell Tim that he does have fines or potential jail time so..."
"Thank you, Jaccob."
"Timothy, we go way back, no need to thank me. Now, enjoy your new life." He handed Tim some money. "Pay your fines and refrain form anymore mistakes." Shi stepped out and went to see Justin.
On hir way out Snowy asked, "Why?"
"What if it didn't stopped at banning the serum, but banning kats?" With that shi departed.

After shi headed to hir temporary home, shi received a call. "Hello?"
"Jake, I thought you resigned?" Came the laugh of the President.
"I did, but I had to do one last thing. My friends need their business as much as we do. After all, they're on to something and that something could be the perfect cure for all illness."
"You're a good man. When can I expect you in DC to give your official resignation?"
"After my wife and I talk."
"Good to know. You stay safe my friend."
"Thank you Mr. President."
At that they hung up and Jake went to explore the town.

Justin and Francine was there talking to their daughters. "Thank you for comming, Sally, Jessica, Alexis, and your respective mates. The President did bring a valid point to my attention last we met. "We need to ask you something important and it is for all three."
"Dad," Alexis walked up. "We know what you want to ask. We talked it over. And all things considering, we would step up, not as ind...."
Luna and Lia walked up and interupted. "Sorry, Alexis but we have a better idea. Grandpa, me and Lia have talked it over, and decided, you'll need heirs to the throne and we'd like to step into that, by moving to Paris with you. If that's alright."
That put a large smile on both faces and gave Francine an idea. "How about we do this. You will train to become queens of France, in a year or two, you will take over."
Luna and Lia smiled. "That we can do." Both said.
"But why?" Luna asked.
"Well, you both are expecting and would make wonderful queens." Francine smiled.
"So it's settled. Luna will come with us when we depart." Justin said.
"What's wrong, Luna?" Sally asked.
"It's Mid. It's been my job to look after hir and we promised we'd be close. Doing these outbreaks and stuff..."
"Well, now don't think shi won't need you, Luna. Shi's always going to. When Sally and Charlie go, I still always need my sister, and shi always needs me. Just remember to visit and all will be fine."
Luna smiled. "Think there's room for me on the trip to Antarctica? I can tell hir when we return."
"Certainly." Sally smiled.
"No. We leave in two days girls." Justin said.
"So say what you need." Francine said.
