"Come on guys. We're going to be late!"
John sighed. If they didn't leave soon, they were going to miss the main event.
"Honey, relax, they're just excited about the circus."
John supposed his wife was right, but he still wasn't happy about it. He really didn't want to go to the circus, but Emily, his 5 year old daughter, had talked about it for the past two months, so he finally relented.
"Okay, everyone in the car. Ben, do you have your shoes and socks on?"
"Yes, Dad," replied Ben, his 9 year old son.
"Susan, do you have your purse?"
"Yes, John," his wife replied, "I only lost it the one time. Now can you please stop worrying? This is supposed to be a fun time for the kids."
Emily started singing, "We're going to the circus, we're going to the circus"
"Alright, let's go."
