"Wait... Poppy... Fuck... I can't do this alone... Maybe you can just stand outside his room or something? I can't do this without you"
Poppy looks at Harry surprised
" Oh... well, come on then. We really need to get moving, Harry"
They both quickly make their way inside the cool air conditioned lobby. Inside is a hallway with offices behind the reception counter. On the left is elevators and stairways and to the right is a waiting room. The receptionist is on a phone at the moment.
Poppy remarks "God it's nice and cool in here, they have coffee machines in here right? I'm craving a coffee badly"
The lady receptionist overhears Poppy and kindly points her to the waiting room with snacks and a coffee machine.
"Thanks!" Poppy says as she almost starts running toward the machine
"Yup uh huh okay see you soon, thanks for calling... Byyye." The receptionist, Kylie hangs up, looks up and in a bored monotone voice automatically begins "Hello and welcome to the-" Kylie quickly stops.
Her pitch changes from monotone to surprised "Oh my Harry your late. I'll quickly go fetch her a VIP pass so you can use the elevator."
"Thanks Kylie"
Poppy returns sipping her coffee and ask "What are we waiting on?"
"She is fetching you a VIP pass so we can both use the elevators and doors."
Poppy puts her coffee on the reception counter and begins to hug Harry reassuringly.
"Don't be scared or nervous... He's your dad he will want to see you..."
Harry hugs back and takes a deep breathe out and kisses Poppy's forehead.
Kylie quickly walks out of an office behind reception and hands Harry the VIP Passes, accidentally knocking the coffee onto the computer.
Kylie sighed "Oh fucking hell, everything's going wrong today. First the doors were acting now, then the Bio-Spill now this... Ughhhh look I'll sort this out just go see your dad he's in the Cross-Genetics Lab today... Guy should be resting in the state he's in."
"Shit sorry that was my coffee" Poppy grimaced
"Thanks Kylie, come on Pop lets get going. Theres a coffee machine on every floor."
Poppy and Harry quickly enter the elevator and scan their Passes.
