Just then, a hole opened up in the wall, and her kids Tom (10) and Sara (8) hopped right through it - both were fully toon roos, and neither of then had any pants, nor did they need them! "Hi, Mummy!" Tom greeted her "We're home! Our teacher let us out early so we could go to the Red Roo Resort with ya!" "'Owd' ya know 'bout that?" Melissa asked. "We read the script, Mum." Sara replied with a smile on her face "An' I was right - ya DO look much bettah as a roo, but yer not quite done yet, are ya now? Well, no worries - I know just 'ow ta speed things along!" and with that, she hopped on her mom, and kissed her right on the nose, which then puffed out into a shiny black ball, then pulled her face into a long roo muzzle! Melissa's eyes then became toonishly wide with long eyelashes, and her physical transformation was done - she was now a toon roo woman! "Look'n great, Mum!" Tom complimented her. "But something's still a bit off." "What's that?" Melissa asked, almost afraid of the answer "Yer mind!" Sara replied "It hasn't finished toonifying yet! What should we do 'bout that, big brother?" Tom thought about it, then smiled wide and answered "Let's wait 'til we're at the resort." "An' wot makes ya think I'm takn' ya there?" Melissa asked, not wanting her mind to be changed any further. "'Cause yer our Mum." Tom replied with a smile. "An' we reallay wanna go." Sara replied also smiling. "Pleeeease?" they both asked in unison with really cute eyes. "I'm not gonna be able ta talk me way outta this, am I?" Melissa asked no one in particular, rubbing her forehead "Alright then. Git yer things packed up, an' we can go." "Silly Mummy!" Sara told her, giggling "There's no need - if ya want somethin' all ya have ta do is pull it outta yer pouch." "If yer mind was finished toonifying," Tom told her with a chuckle "ya'd know that already!" "Very well then." Melissa replied, pulling a hole out of her pouch, and placing it on the wall. The two happy joeys then jumped into her pouch - they went all the way in and poked out their heads, and the weirdest part was that there was no visible evidence to show they were taking up any space in there! With both of them in her pouch, Melissa jumped through the hole, and reappeared at the front desk of the resort, where Mister Stevenson and his wife Tiffany were waiting for them. "Melissa." he happily said "Right on cue, as it were!" "Yer the picture of the perfect Mum with those two in yer pouch, you are!" Tiffany happily told her.
Just then, they were greeted by a roo woman in uniform. "'Ello everyone!" she said warmly "I'm Nancy, an' I'm the manager of this fine establishment. Ah, Mister and Missus Stevenson. 'Eres yer room." and she pulled a hole out of her pouch which led to a nice-looking room. "We'll catch up wit ya later." Mister Stevenson told Melissa "Right now Tiff an' I need a bit o' snuggle time!" Tiffany giggled at this, and the two hopped through the hole as it disappeared behind them.
"Melissa," Nancy said sweetly "I got yer room ready as well." and she pulled a hole out of her pouch leading to another room just as nice-looking as the last one.
"'Old on there." Melissa said a bit nervous "'Ow much is it?" "It's free - all of it!" Nancy happily told her "Ya don't havta pay so much as a penny!" "If everythin' 'ere is free," Melissa asked, having her doubts "then 'ow do ya keep the place runnin'?" "With running shoes of course!" Nancy happily told her, and Tom and Sara giggled at this. "I mean 'ow do ya handle the water an' the electricity?" Melissa asked again "Water-proof rubber suits!" Nancy happily replied, and the two joeys giggled again. "So yer not gonna charge me?" Melissa asked. "We're roos - not rhinos!" Nancy replied smiling, and Melissa's kids burst out laughing. "Just give it up, Mum." Sara told her with a smile "Yer not gonna get anywhere thinkin' like that!" "And yer not gonna send me a bill?" Melissa asked once more. "Bills are for-" Nancy began, but was interrupted when Melissa asked with a nervous smile "Ducks and platypuses, right?" "Now yer gettin' it!" Nancy happily told her "Sounds ta me like yer mind's goin' the way o' the rest of ya - becomin' toony an' all!" This made Melissa cringe "No worries - you'll soon fit in with the rest of the world." With that, Melissa jumped through the hole, and into her suite "Let me know if ya need anythin'" Nancy called out to her, right before the hole closed. With that, Tom and Sara hopped out of their mother's pouch. "This is great!" Tom happily said "We'll 'ave loads of fun, or at least we will once Mum's mind finishes toonifying." "Ya still 'aven't told me 'ow we're gonna do that." Sara told him, then he smiled and told Sara "We 'ave ta make her laugh, so....
