"You know what? I have an idea." Cal said, once Logan disappeared through the door at the end of the hallway.
"I'm all ears." Will said.

Several floors up, Rebeca and Gabe saw a bright light in front of each of them. A card-like image that said Orc hovered in front of them, with the name Cal floating above it.
"What did that idiot do this time?" Rebeca wondered aloud.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"What did you do?" Will shouted. Standing before him was what used to be Cal. Now, it was a six and a half foot tall, buff, green man with tusks. Oddly, it still had on Cal's football jersey, jeans, and arm guards, but the jersey and jeans were considerably less loose.
"I used a card. Whoa, is that my voice?" Cal said in a rough baritone.
"These things actually... transformations and magic. Oh God, everything that Old Man said was true. Do you know what that means?" Will asked.
"Not even a little." Cal said, examining his now bulging biceps.
"Everything else in that store was probably also magic! I saw a spell book man! I could be casting fireballs right now!" Will said, looking dejectedly at his cards, "Actually, I have an idea too."

Logan was reading through the rules a fifth time when he saw another card pop up in front of him, this time one that said wizard and had Will's name above it.
"Shit, Will has magic. The whole world is doomed."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, you're a wizard?" Cal asked, looking Will over. He didn't seem to be any different.
"Let's find out." Will said, pointing a finger at the glass pane. In a matter of moments, a spark flew from his fingers, crashing through the glass.
"So, that was what, magic missile?" Cal asked.
"Yes. Witness the power of an entire d4 of damage!" Will said, cackling maniacally, "But seriously, do you think that's big enough for you to fit through now that you make Kevin Sorbo look like a wimp?"
"Let's find out." Cal said, climbing through the window. He was just slightly too big, and broke off some of the glass on the way through, but made it to the other side with only a few scrapes.
"Nice. Now help me through." Will said, climbing in after his big green friend.
