Ryan looked at the skates next to him, they were size 15, way bigger than his size 9 feet, but whatever. He needed new skates anyway, and if they were "guaranteed to fit" he could just swap to a size that does fit. Preferably for free.
He put his right foot into the skate, and wiggled his toes. Surprisingly, it didn't seem roomy, it fit perfectly. He pulled the foot back out, and it looked the same as before. Checking the tag on the skate, it clearly said size 15. It looked size 15 too, why did it fit him normally? He picked up the skate and inspected it, it looked just like a normal skate. Bauer, a decent brand name, recognized for sure. He pondered upon the weird skate for a moment, and thought that he might as well take them if they fit him fine. He did need the skates after all. He stuck his foot back into the skate, followed by the left foot into it's respective skate. That's when he started to feel weird.
Ryan felt an ache throughout his body. He was warm and sore. 'I can't do this today, I've got a practice today' he thought. He shook his head, practice? He worked at a fast food chain, he hadn't had to do any "practicing" for years. But something about him was insisting that he had a practice, and that he had to feel better to be there. He stood up from the seat he was sitting on, and got a weird sensation of vertigo. Was the ceiling that close before? He was 6'5, taller than most, but he distinctly remembered the ceiling being lower today. 'Shit, today ain't gonna go so hot if I keep this up, eh?' he thought to himself.
He figured he was just not feeling great from sitting down. He looked in the mirror, saw his pretty average body. 'I gotta stretch if I want to feel any better' he thought. He stretched out his arms, legs, and the rest of his body. As he did, his muscles grew and stretched, he looked buff by the end of his stretch. He flexed in front of the mirror and grinned, thinking "Wow, I'm one hot piece of meat, eh" As he did, his jaw sharpened and gained a couple days of stubble. His hair shortened, becoming a close crop. His teeth disaligned a little bit, and his nose crooked to one side, result of a bad fight.
Ryan was feeling much better now. He took off his skates and put his size 15 trainers back on, he was going to buy these skates, he loved them. The Toronto Maple Leafs player was ready for practice, having shook off whatever that spell was. He was going to dominate and win the Stanley Cup this season.
