A man stopped in front of the charity box and looked down at Mitch. The man was wearing a shirt that indicated that he was a volunteer at the charity. Mitch didn't recognize him at first but there was something familiar about him. Then the man spoke.
"So, we meet again. I see my spell hasn't been so kind to you."
Mitch immediately recognized the voice. It was the wizard from opera! 'But how did he recognize me while I'm in this stuffed animal body? And why is he here anyways?' thought Mitch.
"I am able to recognize my own magic", said the wizard. "Since the amulet was born from my magic, I am able to sense anyone under the amulet's effects. Just in case you are wondering, I'm able to read your thoughts. That is why I can understand you despite the fact that you cannot physically speak in your current form. Also, you are lucky that I happen to be a volunteer at this particular charity organization. I assume that someone turned you into your current state."
'Yes, my girlfriend made me this way. It's a long story, but I made her mad so turned me into a stuffed animal. Please, turn me back to normal!'
"Why should I?" sneered the wizard. "You obviously did something to deserve to be in such a precarious situation."
'I beg you, please change me back! I'm sorry that I interrupted your performance the other day. I'll do anything that you want. Just make me normal again, please!'
The wizard silently thought for a few moment before he finally spoke. "I'm not fully convinced that you have learned your lesson. However.... perhaps, you have suffered enough. Fortunately for you, I don't need the amulet in order to undo the spell. I might be willing to turn you back to your human form, but there will be at least one condition."
Mitch was slightly relived that the wizard was going to turn him back to normal, but he was worried about what kind of condition the wizard might ask for. Still, Mitch was willing to do just about anything to be human again.
