The girls unfroze and were lifted into the air. Their clothes seemed to get baggier, sliding off, one by one as their forms reduced in size. Finally, they stopped at around 6 inches. They craned their necks back as antennae sprang from their forehead.
The fairy pushed you over to the girls who were now curling forward trying to reach their hands around to their backs. “You don’t want to miss the best part.”
You watch as tiny bulges form on the girls’ backs. Slowly something breaks through and grows out from the bulges. They were sprouting wings. Somehow the sight was unsettling and titillating at the same time. As they formed, you could see that one girl’s set was that of a monarch butterfly’s but pink, while the other’s were large cicada wings.
The girls, maintaining their height by their fluttering wings looked at one another and began kissing passionately.
“What did you do to them?” you ask
“Fulfilled their wish.” She answered. “You see; they were both lesbians who were afraid to come out to each other for fear of both losing one another’s friendship and of the social stigma within a high school environment. Fairies were the perfect way to go with them, being all female and such.”
“So, if you go around warping reality to help people, explain Mr. Tate.”
“Woman trapped in a man’s body. He would never be able to afford the surgeries on a teacher’s salary, and even then, he’d still wind up with an Adams apple and big hands.”
“And only I notice all of this because of the wish I made in class.”
“Correct.”
“I wished to make Math class more interesting, it ended several minutes ago; so why did I notice things like the fairies?”
“Because I know your true wish wasn’t just to make one single class or even the whole school day more interesting; you want your whole life to be more interesting; and that’s where I can help you.”
