"Uh..... Huh" You struggle to control your breathing enough to make the sounds come out.
"Says here, you are a Freshman, that would put you around 14 ish correct?"
"Yeahhhh" You say breathily, the sedation is wearing off quickly.
"Do you go by Jake or Jacob, my boy?" The scientist snickered at that last comment like something he said was funny.
"I'm Jayyyy...." You suddenly start coughing which seems to help wake you up more mentally at least. "I'm Jake." you say clearly.
To the tape recorder, "Our new test subject is Jake Hobbs. Physically 14 though may currently pass for androgynous 11-12 at first glance, freshmen, current growth pattern suggests secondary characteristic expressions will appear around age 17. We will be exposing him to serum 47c in hopes of extracting meaningful data regarding age retardation and reversal. Subject has minimal body hair, low body weight/muscle mass, voice pitch is still childlike, bone structure is not yet developed. The subject will be monitored from afar and extracted twice over the next 12 months in 6 month intervals."

"I am an experimental scientist searching for the chemical equivalent of the fountain of youth. Our bodies are amazing things but they tend to come with an expiration date. Cancer, diabetes, obesity and a host of other things you don't yet need to worry about, and hopefully never will. If we could keep peoples bodies at the point just after puberty, a host of other problems will never come into play. People will still die from old age, but it will be a respectable death with honor and clarity of mind, imagine a world without dementia or senility no Alzheimer's patients or... " The scientist faded off smiling into space. Clearly he believed in what he was doing, which explained the kidnapping...
"Look Doc, I get that you want to save the world but I'm not OK with being your guinea pig. You yourself already said that I could pass for an 11 year old, the last thing I want is to be stuck this way for the rest of my life or even the next decade. Even if it means that I may get cancer in 60 years. Let me go."
The scientist's eyes glistened with excitement. "I'm glad you feel that way Jake, you are the perfect candidate and your appearance is why you were selected. We have a serum that we believe will vaccinate someone against the aging process, however, its initial use has the opposite effect. Visible signs of aging such as hair loss, wrinkles and going gray will be slowed down but not stopped, internal aging on a cellular level does appear to be halted all together. Despite this, It tends to speed up the aging process over the first year.
Human trials with a drug this powerful is very difficult. A full dose is needed otherwise the body will reject it and results will be spotty and meaningless. Having a 20, 30, 40, 50 or so on, year old person over the course of a year begin to look a decade or so older can be quite traumatizing for them and their family. A pre-teen wouldnt be ready for the world to treat them like an adult which leaves us looking for an underdeveloped teen. In the years to come we are hoping that it becomes common for parents to have their children vaccinated between 13 and 14. You again are an ideal candidate."
While the scientist was talking he was moving around and grabbing things. You hadn't realized till now that he had a seemingly huge IV bag with what looked like a gallon of yellow liquid in it.
