Running from the shop and down the mall, Zoe ran straight into Greg, the lead vocalist of the band she had tried out for. When she bumped into him, Zoe dropped the case opening it showing off Baphinox. "What's this?" He said picking up the guitar "Nice axe, you know, I think I was a little too hasten with the decision yesterday. Would you like to come to my place and try out again? I promise to hear you out... If you still want in?" Even though Greg was an arrogant jerk, there was still something about the way he did his hair, the way he smelled and that glint in his eyes that made Zoe forget about the previous audition "ok.... I'll come round" she said sounding distracted. Greg helped her up and handed the case to her "why not come round now? I have my car with me. I promise I won't do anything funny with you" again Zoe was entranced "ok.... I'll come round"
Arriving at Greg's place, he led her to the basement. It was a perfect practice spot as the sound cannot be heard from underground. He sat down on a stool letting Zoe walk to the huge amplifier, just as Zoe picked up one of Greg's guitars he stood from the stool " No, no.. Use your guitar. It looks cooler" a flashback hit Zoe's head of when she plugged the guitar into her own amp. Looking at the case, she could here something calling to her. Slowly she picked Baphinox up plugged in the lead and switched on the amp, Greg sat back down "play something..... Slow. Something hot". Without hesitation Zoe's hands began to move along the frets and the sound came through the amp.
As Zoe played, Greg closed his eyes and leant back enjoying the sound. Again Zoe began to feel strange, and unable to stop playing.
