"Shasta, heel!"
Shasta's eyes snapped open. His master had entered the room. Mesmero looked at the confused tiger. It looked like he was enjoying his new life. Mesmero smiled. He was always glad when his subjects were easily hypnotized.
"Shasta, come!" Mesmero ordered, and Shasta obeyed. He left the cage, closing the door once Shasta had exited.
Meanwhile, the rest of John's family were wandering around the animal enclosures. Joan didn't want to ask anyone for help, since that would be embarassing. She imagined the conversation: "Yes, I'm looking for my husband, can you help me find him? He thinks he's a tiger, and is running around on all fours with cat ears and a tail on." She scowled, and finally found the tiger enclosure. However, her husband wasn't there. She noticed that one of the cages had Shasta written on, but John was nowhere to be found. Joan sighed, when she found him, she was going to strangle him for acting so bizare. It was cute up on stage, but this was taking it way too far. She made sure she had her kids with her, and went out to look for him. Where could he have gone?
