As you file in line behind the other guys, you can feel your stomach beginning to knot up. This isn't quite what you had expected this class to be like! You were planning on taking this for learning how to perform transformations and gain some practical lessons from it--not have your life completely turned around. Behind the worry, though, lies a sense of curiosity, a desire to take up this opportunity. After all, you're already here and in the line.
As the line slowly advances toward the dark doors, you notice other students counting out the other lines to figure out who they're paired with. Joining in, you look up and down the other line and see her-- the sperm donor for the new you (a strange thought)-- it's the new girl. You look her over, her cute face, pert chest, and rocking curves. Yeah, she's a lot better off than when she had entered class not too long ago as a male. It's funny to think that she's the only one in the room who's going to enter and leave the same gender today. You make eye contact with her and give an awkward wave, which she returns in kind.
Turning your focus back to the line, you see that there are just a couple of people left before you and her enter the machine and, with it, a new life. Each pair enters their respective doors of the machine, which then roars and whirs for a few minutes before falling silent and opening the doors for the next pair. You feel your nervousness building with each step closer you take to the machine, knowing that this means the end of your life as you currently know it.
Soon, you find yourself and your partner at the sealed doors, next to enter. With a pneumatic whoosh, the doors open. Taking a deep breath, you muster your courage enough to enter the machine. Once inside, you look down to see you're standing in a shallow pool of some kind of chemical, no more than an inch deep, and, on the other side of the plexiglass window at the center of the machine, you see your partner. The machine begins its rumbling as before, reminding you once more that you're dealing with powers beyond your control and that your fate is now sealed.
Suddenly, you feel your clothes simply vanish off your body, leaving you completely exposed. You don't get much of a chance, though, to react to that before you begin to feel yourself shrinking, gradually at first. Looking across, you see her now completely nude and going through the same changes as you. Once fully grown, she was getting younger. As you see her begin to revert to before puberty, you feel the changes hit yourself as you rapidly shrink in height and hear your voice climbing to that of an adolescent boy. You begin breathing deeply, knowing that you don't have much time left, even as you feel yourself beginning to mentally revert as well.
As you become a young child, you can no longer support yourself upright and fall backwards into the pool. Looking over, you see her also, now no more than a toddler and quickly shrinking. Your body reverts further and, now a newborn, you can do nothing but squirm and cry. In a matter of moments, though, the world goes dark and silent to you as you re-enter your fetal stages.
In a matter of minutes, you are nothing but the last few cells, then a zygote. In that pivotal moment, your sperm and egg separate. The machine expertly extracts the two from the water, along with those of your partner.
Rearranged at last, your sperm travels toward her egg and her sperm toward yours. In the moment her sperm touches her egg, the two fuse, solidifying your soul's gender as female.
You are then placed into a foster mother along with your partner-- your new fraternal "twin"-- to grow into your new life before beginning your real training in gender transformations.
