We found my brother Prince Andrew and my best friend, Maedel the Elf ranger, smooching outside the circus' pavillion. The nonsensical prattle of Morgana the monkey startled them and they quickly ceased their lip locking and stood with their hands behind their back and heads hung low like a couple of guilty children who had been caught making trouble.
*snort* "No need to stop on our account," quipped the chubby pig, Princess Connie as she trotted alongside me and Morgana on her dainty hooves. "Just keep making out whilst the Kingdoms of West and Molossia fall apart!"
"Molossia's more of a town than a Kingdom..." Maedel muttered under her breath. Connies floppy pig ears twitched, she obviously heard the slight to her families Kingdom causing her to scowl and snort involuntarily.
"Enough of the banter you two," I sighed before explaining, "It seems Morgana the witch that got us into this mess is now a mindless monkey and the citizens of Molossia, along with the nobility of the West Kingdom are now clowns!"
I took a deep breath in frustration and shouted, " Does anyone have any idea how to clean up this... blooming mess!"
"Blooming mess?" Maedel snickered, "Is that the worst curse Princess Sara can come up with?"
"Oh poo to you!" I said, earning a much louder laugh from Maedel. I gritted my teeth and stamped my foot like a stereotypical Princess and my brother Prince Andrew dropped his head into his palm.
I'm sure Maedel would have continued to tease me if it had not been for Connie piping in. "We could go visit Madame Majique. She's another witch... or sorceress... or something... well, I think she does magic at least. She might be able to fix things."
"A witch, sorceress or something?" Maedel said skeptically, "I suppose its worth a shot."
"I'm glad someone is still taking the situation seriously!" I said.
"Pfftt! She's not trying to help! just wants to be magicked back into a human, don't you Princess piggy?" Maedel bent over to look down into Connies eyes.
"Of course I do..." Connie said and looked away miserably. Her tiara slipping and hanging off her ear, "You guys got turned back to normal and I'm stuck as a pig."
Maedel leaned closer and straightened the tiara, "Okay, well lets go get you turned back then!"
"Umm," Andrew began, "this isn't another man-hating, Princess kidnapping sort of witch, is it?"
There was an awkward silence as we began walking back to town to grab some supplies for our journey.
