Fun Fur

added by A 9 years ago A BM

Adding fur seems like the least obtrusive of the changes you can make, especially since you've already gone so far as to change your own ears, and you already have a patch of fur from the first time you sprayed yourself with the BOD anyway. You just want fur, however, and not to change your body fundamentally, the way you did with your ears. You were lucky when you sprayed yourself the first time, but now that you know what the BOD can do, you can't afford to get it wrong. You don't want to be stuck with dog arms (or forelegs) and legs (or hind legs). You turn the problem over and over in your mind.

You definitely don't want to cover your body in fur, especially if you don't know how long it will last, so you decide to just try a bit around your wrists and maybe your lower legs. That should be enough to pass for a costume. As for how to accomplish that end, you don all your protective gear again after cutting new holes for your canine ears, but this time you roll up your pants above the knee and rolll your socks down past your ankles. You also roll the cuffs of your gloves down past your wrist, and pull your sleeves up to about your mid-forearm. However, this time, instead of spraying yourself, you spray a small washcloth with the BOD. When you are certain there is enough BOD on the cloth, you pick it up with your gloved hand.

You take a deep breath, then use the cloth to wipe a bit of BOD on the back of your lower leg as a test. You figure that will be the easiest place to hide if something goes wrong. After a second, it starts itching, and before your eyes, fur matching that of your ears sprouts forth. You feel your leg with the gloved hand not holding the cloth, and it appears that your anatomy has not changed, only your skin. You run your hand across the new fur, and shudder at the strange tingling sensation from your once lightly-haired leg.

Well, in for a penny, in for a pound, I suppose!

You steel yourself, then quickly rub all the exposed skin on your lower legs and wrists with the BOD-soaked cloth. The itching sensation is nearly unbearable, but it is shoved from your mind as you watch new fur grow in all around your wrists and from your knees to your ankles. You find that the more you rub with the cloth, the longer the fur becomes. After it is about four inches long everywhere, you finally stop.

You take a dry paper towel and wipe down the areas you have rubbed, making sure there is no leftover BOD, then you tear off your gloves and run your hands through your new fur. It is a different feeling from running your hands through your hair, since the fur almost seems like it has made your skin more sensitive, and as each bristle is bent, you experience new unfamiliar sensations. You are surprised how much you are enjoying this, and your ears and nose twitch with pleasure.

This might not be too bad... you think to yourself, but the thought stops you short. You didn't want this, you are just adjusting to a situation you found yourself in by accident. You can't let yourself get carried away; at least that's what you tell yourself, but your hands keep stroking your new fur.

Trying to gain control of yourself, you come to the conclusion that you have to...
