Maedel sighed as the horses strong bone structure seemed to become more rounded though it still retained the general shape of a horse, "Well, that's just great! Now it'll be even harder to transform Miss Majique back from a horse!"
"What? Why?" I asked.
"Haven't you been paying attention? It was explained way back in chapter_76094 that when multiple spells are stacked on top of each other they get harder to remove!" Maedel explained, clearly not caring about the fourth wall.
"Oh yes! I had forgotten that!" I said.
"Guys, a little help?" Connie squeaked, fearfully as she looked toward the ground which seemed to be getting further away. The horse balloons hoofs no longer touched the ground and it began floating gently upwards.
"Oh shoot!" I swore.
"Jump Connie!" shouted my brother Andrew (who had been awfully quiet the past few chapters.)
"No, wait!" Maedel shook her hands as if to say stop but Connie had already clumsily dropped off and into Andrews waiting arms. The balloon horse shot up into the sky.
Maedel shook her head and punched Andrew in the arm. "Without fatty holding the balloon down, of course it would fly away!"
"I'm not fat!" Connie moped.
Maedel rolled her eyes, "Oh please! You're a pig!"
"Y-you are quite heavy" Andrew agreed as he strained to carry Connie.
I stared up at the balloon shielding my eyes from the sun light, "So how do we get her down."
"I'm sure she'll come down eventually herself." said Maedel, who clearly couldn't care less.
"Maedel could shoot her down? She's elf, she can't miss!" Andrew said enthusiastically which made Maedel grind her teeth at being stereotyped.
"We're not going to pop her!" Connie and I shouted in unison.
"I still need her to change me back," said Connie.
"She's a human being," I said.
