The diabolical head-sister was happy, she just avenged herself from a little disobedient scum after all! But because of all that, she wasn't able to listen to today's shell-news.
A shell-news is the sirens equivalent of a newspaper. Or rather, a strange magical hybrid between a walkman and a newspaper. It presented itself in the form of a seashell to be put over your ear, and recited the news to. But the news it was able to say never changed, so using yesterday's shell-news will only bring you yesterday's news.
First, Florencia learned the council of sisterhoods was finally able to choose it's new queen. "At last!" She shouted. "It only took ONE WHOLE YEAR to these brainless gold-fish!" Then, she heard the name of the selected queen. Her heart would have stopped immediately, if she got one. The new council's head was someone that literally hated her!
And the sea-harpy was about to learn more bad news.
While Florencia now literally crushing her ear with it, the shell-news pursued. "Like we all know, since the queen's part in the council is to be it's referee, and to ensure the needs of the head-sisters aren't the only one addressed to the counselors, she's the only member that can't be a head-sister herself. Being a wandering siren until now, Queen Océane was required to join a sisterhood. It's the one of her old-time friend, head-sister Selene, who got the honors.
Selene is famous since the day she got courageous enough to report her previous sisterhood, when its head-sister broke the rules. An act too few sisters are sufficiently bold to do. More recently, head-sister Selene was discovered to be the living proof an old legend said the truth, happily living with a man.
Asked about Selene's human lover, 86% of our listener said he should be made an honorary member of his wife's sisterhood. Given the currents members of the council of sisterhoods, our experts think it should be the case as soon as today's session start."
After that bit of journalistic prediction, Florencia was so frightened she became eerily calm. "If that's more than the usual press enthusiasm, my life is already forfeit. All I can do is save my honor… Maybe."

Your wife immediately started a verbal assault against the new arrival. "Océane!?! What happened?!? Did something go wrong during your first session?"
"You… *huff* need… *huff* to… *huff* know… *huff* what… *huff* Florencia… *huff* did…"
"… Change my husband in one of us?" Finished Selene. "I know. But how did YOU?"
On cue, someone else entered. (Yes. Again.) Elizabeth and you recognized her immediately: It was Mary, the red haired siren with the B-cup chest, a silky white skin and (usually) a fish-tail colored in some sort of aquamarine color. With a sad smile on her face, she said "Hi… The 'how' must be me."
Having regained her breath, Océane added "I was on my way back here when I bumped on Mary, she explained everything. She isn't only willing to testimony in your favor about Mike, but also reveal every wrongdoing Florencia ever did."
"I do." Confirmed Mary "I only have one condition…"
