For most of the next day, Clemens and Jenny had been busy with the last day they had before needing to return to work. First needing to restock on certain foods, having made sure most of the perishables had already been eaten prior to leaving to keep the wastage down. Before returning to their apartment to get everything put away before they turned to their next big piece. Their continuing Wedding and Honeymoon Plans.
“Ssso how many will be attending?” Clemens asked as he worked on getting all the information down accurately.
“Well.” Jenny started as she took a moment to think it through. “There’s the ones from the workplace, yours and mine, twenty-seven between them. Fifteen from my side of the family turning up, eleven from your side, twelve if Joseph can make it.”
“Ssso either fifty-three or fifty-four.” Clemens did the math as he tentatively placed the larger number down. With the Wedding now a little over five weeks away, they had decided now was the best time to get all the information down and sent to allow the preparatory work to begin in earnest.
“Coassstal Occasssionsss. $3,700 for the whole package.” Clemens added, thinking back to the time spent building up the funds to allow it alongside their Honeymoon.
“So when is the next Consultation again?” Jenny inquired.
“Thisss coming Sssunday.” Clemens answered after checking the schedule. “Then after all that, there’sss the RV Drive to enjoy.”
“Any particular destinations?”
“Not at the moment, but that’sss the fun in it, able to go where we pleassse.”
“I suppose so.” Jenny agreed with that much. “But I was thinking North a ways, then along the middle. It should give a good spread of places to see.”
“Well, if that’sss what you want, it can be done.” Clemens ceded as he finished the last of the preparations for the time being.
As he leaned back in the chair, he turned a bit on it so that his legs were no longer under the desk as he stretched himself out to work away the stiffness that had come from his being seated there for some time, grateful that being fabric instead of leather, it meant that it didn’t become too hot and uncomfortable in the summer heat.
“So what’s next?” Jenny asked.
“Hmm, last night’sss newsss sssaid that it would run that programme over the nexxxt few day’sss, ssso I wonder what they’ll cover tonight?”
“There’s one way to find out.” Jenny remarked. “But dinner’s first.”
“Then check up on Jossseph, sssee if he can make it.” Clemens added as he got up and followed Jenny to see how their dinner was doing.”
