It didn't take long for the girls to get reacquainted and start laughing and having fun. Soon all three were jumping up and down on the bed like little monkeys and before long Claudia and Mary were tuckered out and flopped back. Katie smiled, looking at the two girls as they settled down to sleep like all their friends. She was now alone again, the only one awake in the whole house and aware of her own situation. Watching Mary and Claudia gave her deep pause to consider what she was going to do next.
Mary Elise had been open to the idea of becoming a little girl, but Claudia had not. Katie was of the opposite opinion. She'd been fully adult and wanted to become a child again, but not as young as she had been. Her experience was colored by her former age, just as Claudia's was. Mika was more like her in this exception, she was an adult who would gladly become a child again, but wanted to stay best friends with Claudia because of their history. Katie had no interest in sharing with anyone else what she had with Mary. She didn't want to hurt any of the girls but she could honestly not care about the others.
"I want to simplify things between myself, Claudia, Mary and Mom." She thought. "All the other girls can still be a part of our lives, but not as important."
She contemplated and nodded as the perfect wish came to mind. "I wish all the girls except for Claudia, Mary, Mom and myself were a grade behind us and had no memory of their former lives or ages. That they had new lives and ages fitting for their age and that they were best friends and friends to all of us, but only in elementary school. I wish that they would be wherever they should be at this age."
As she said it she felt a warmth and a change in the house, moving downstairs she saw all the other girls were gone and the ring told her they were now normal little girls with normal families elsewhere. She nodded and hurried back upstairs turned her attention to Claudia and Mary.
"I wish Mary and Claudia were normal girls for this age, that they and I would have known each other since before kindergarten, practically since diapers, and that we were close and shared everything, but they didnt know about the ring yet. That they remembered being invited over for a slumber party tonight and that I had a surprise to show them I wish my room and stuff would reflect this change.."
Both girls would suddenly shift in their sleep as katie felt the ring warm, their clothes transformed to pajamas...the room now a messy ten year old girls room, with girls clothes and pictures of the three girls here and there at different ages. Katie smiled and nodded, satisfied with this.
That just leaves mom....
