"Well, I'm going to go watch the news," said Mark. "Ty, help your mother clear the dishes." He got up and started to head into the den.
Ty and June started clearing the table. While doing so, Ty was provided with non-stop fretting from June about Dustin/Daphne's 'lifestyle choice', and how it was so sudden, and so unlike him, and since when did Ryan swing that way. Wasn't Ryan dating Julie? And wasn't Daphne dating Cindy?
As they finished up, Ty spoke to June. "Listen carefully. You're going to go to bed tonight and sleep very soundly. When you wake up tomorrow morning, you're going to completely understand why Daphne is acting the way he is. You like being a woman, after all, so it's not that odd that a boy might go through a phase where he envied all the wonderful things women have. It's probably just a phase, and while it lasts you can experience the daughter you never had yourself. You'll enjoy indulging Daphne, and will help him to be the best girl he can be. Now forget I told you this, but follow my commands exactly."
June blinked a bit, and then gave out a big yawn. "All this excitement has really tuckered me out. I think I'll turn in early." She headed for the stairs.
Ty considered his options. Ryan and Dustin/Daphne were up in Daphne's room, 'studying'. June had just gone to sleep, and Mark was out in the Den. What mischeif could he cause right now?
