Madame Illusia glared at the man who was suddenly very sober and very scared. "So, you assume I am a murderer? That I would take the life of that young man for a simple show? It is very dangerous to assume - when you assume you make an ass of you and me. I certainjly don't want to be an ass. But I think you are more suited as one."
The man scrambled up to run away, only to fall forward as transformation twisted his body. His legs and back changed first, with coarse hair and thickening flesh slowing up his chest like oil in a wick. The interloper stared down at himself in horror as his arms become forelegs, and then even his eyes changed to those of a beast. In moments, a large brown jackass was braying in the middle of the stage.
The witch smiled and turned back tot he audience. "Now, before we were so rudely interrupted, our young friend Tom won the prize of being with Melanie forever. Do you think that she wants to cart around a statue? Of course not! Melanie, dear? Will you please turn sideways?"
The girl shifted to display her profile, and after a moment, the audience gasped when they realized her belly was rather prominent. Madame Illusia smiled. "Young Tom's essense, his soul and memories, have been pulled into her womb, where he will remain safe and content within her. That is the prize he sought, wasn't it? To be with Melanie forever?" Illusia waves her hand, and Thomas leads the former heckler off to the stables, while the obviously pregnant Melanie walks off on her own.
Madame Illusia turns back tot he audience. "Now, who else would like to volunteer? Wouldn't any of you men like to be a powerful stud? Or enjoy renewed youth? Aren't any of you curious about being an animal, or trying life as a different person? If you don;t like what I do to you, all you have to do is tell me and I will restore you."
