Fearing what would happen should Dave lose the Pen he quickly wrote, "Everything I say is the truth, if it is not the truth at that moment the universe changes to make it the truth."
After writing that enigmatic statement Dave saw the pen glow brightly and look like it was disintegrating. As the golden dust floated around and out of existence Dave wondered if he had passed some kind of limit the pen couldn't withstand. This fear grew greater and greater as the amount of Pen continued to disappear. As the last particle vanished Dave was convinced that he had destroyed the most fantastic thing that had ever come into his meager life. Almost forgetting what he had just wrote down Dave figured he might as well see if the Pen did its job before vanishing. Figuring it was a good test Dave said, "I have six fingers on each hand."
Feeling nothing out of the ordinary except for some tingling in his hands, Dave assumend that the tingling was a placebo and returned to his desk resigned to continue loving out his life as the world's only hermaphrodite human. Except when he went to type on his keyboard not all of his fingers had a place to be. The outer two of his six fingers were hanging off the end of his keyboard. Astonished Dave lept to his feet and shouted with glee, he was now omnipotent and could do anything he wanted. The only question was what next?
