You didn't have to wait long. You felt something slithering up your leg and, fearing a snake, looking down to see what was happening. The good news: it wasn't a snake. The bad news: it's more vines. You soon see and feel another vine slither up your other leg. You can feel the vines slowly encircling your legs and then your torso. The feeling of the vines sliding over your body is incredibly strange, but not entirely unpleasant. It makes your skin tingle a bit in a good way. You might enjoy the experience more if you were held in place. The vines on your ankles and wrists aren't painfully tight and allow some range of movement; it seems they aren't trying to hurt you, just prevent your escape.
So the vines that wrapped the rest of your body slither back into view as they exit your sleeves to encircle your arms. You can get a good look at them now: the vines are about as thick as an electrical cord. You can see that while the vines are snuggling encircling you they are still leaving most of your skin uncovered. You guess there are about a six inch gap between vines. Once the new vines reach your wrists, the larger vines holding you in place release you and you fall slowly the few feet down to the ground.
You look at your arms. Why have the vines wrapped around you? Before you can stand up or try to pull the vines free what feels like a hundred pins and needle stab into your arms, legs, and torso all at once. The sudden shock of it causes you black out.
Sometime later you awaken to discover...
