"Well, well....I never saw this...not in a million years." Kai said with a smirk on his face.
Jae broke his embrace with Park and looked up to see a tall, muscular figure standing by the mirror, near the window. At that instant, Jae (and Park) felt a new wave of memories overwrite their current memories. The memories of the weedy, nerdy younger brother were replaced with new memories. The memories Jae had of protecting his younger brother from bullies were replaced with Kai playing soccer and Jae following in his big brother's footsteps. Memories of Kai being in the chess club were replaced with Kai joining the swim team as a freshman and, as he grew, he became a phenom, becoming team captain and the man who stood before him. Jae had memories of attending all of his brother's games and meets.
"Kai! Wha...what are you doing here? I thought you had class! Umm I can explain!" Jae said, his voice trembling. Kai could see that his normally calm and cool brother was flustered. Park kind of cowered with behind Jae, covering himself with the bed sheet. Kai thought the two of them made an adorable couple. "Relax little brother! I didn't mean to startle you. Class was canceled. I got here like a minute or 2 before you guys."
"Ok that doesn't explain why you were in my room. You aren't going to tell mom and dad about what you saw, are you?" Jae asked.
"First, I stopped by because I wanted to check out what games you had and maybe borrow 1 or 2 to take back to the frat house later. Second, you have nothing to worry about. I had no idea that you guys were..."
"Boyfriends!!!" Park interrupted.
"Boyfriends, right. Anyway, you don't have to worry about me saying anything to mom or dad. I mean come on, first off, have I ever blown you in to them about anything? We've always had each others backs. I wish you had told me your little secret, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised since I haven't been entirely honest with you about me." Kai said.
"What do you mean?" Jae asked confused.
"Well, to be honest, for as long as I can remember, I've always been attracted to both guys and girls. I'm bisexual little brother!" Kai said.
"Seriously?!?" Jae asked excitedly.
"Seriously" Kai responded.
Jae got up from the bed and hugged his brother tighter than he had ever hugged him.
"Don't worry little brother, when you are ready to tell mom and dad, I will be right by your side, supporting you, just like I always have. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to grab what I came for and let you 2 get back to what you were doing." Kai grabbed the 2 games and headed out. What Jae hadn't noticed was the thumb drive Kai also grabbed.
