Don banged into the house, not noticing his brother's
shocked expressions or the sight of his doll-sized
father freaking out at their feet. "Hey guys, I'm home!
Hope you heated up enough dinner for me!"
"Uh, Don?" The blood had drained from Bryan's face.
"What?"
Nobody knew how to answer, and in the ensuing
silence, Don could hear a thin squeal come from
below. He followed the sound down until he caught
sight of his father, still horribly upset at his predicament
and the sight of his three giant sons looming above
him.
"Shit!" Don jumped backward, at first convinced he was
seeing some sort of hairless rat. Then his eyes
focused and the truth was painfully clear.
