The fairy immediately drops the cherry and points the palms of her hands at you. Before you can react, her hands glow, and a bright beam of golden light strikes you in the chest. Immediately, you see everything getting larger. The fairy sustains the beam until you reach her height.
You take in your surroundings; your cheesecake was the size of a kitchen table, your thermos was like a monument and the nearby tree towered as a skyscraper overhead. You let out a slight whimper of fear.
“I’m sorry about that,” the fairy finally spoke up, “but for someone like me, your size was a bit intimidating.”
You ponder her words for a moment before answering, “Fair enough, I’m Dianne, by the way.”
“I regret I cannot give you my true name as you would gain control over me if you knew it; but for convenience sake, call me Amy.”
“Well, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Amy.”
“Likewise, Dianne.” Amy said with a curtsy. The fairy looked down at her misappropriated fruit and picked it up. “I’m sorry about taking your cherry, I thought you wouldn’t miss it, and I’m pretty famished.”
”Keep it; in fact, why not stay a while?”
“Really?”
“I get a little lonely out here by myself, I could use the company.”
“Why, thank you!” Amy says as she and you sit down next to one another.
