“The forecast said it would be a hot day today, don’t you think you’ll cook under them?” Susan queried with a puzzled look.
Jenny was forced to admit that she did have a point, given the thickness of the fur she had covering her now. Enough to hide her nipples, if not there sheer size at the moment.
“If I get something loose and easy, it, shouldn’t be a problem.” Jenny reasoned, hoping she actually had something that met the requirements.
“Well okay, but don’t say I never told you so if you overheat.” Susan acceded before adding. “Now, mind if I get in here? I do need to clean up.”
“Oh, right.” Jenny slipped past her and made for her bedroom where Katie was just leaving.
Alone in her room now, Jenny couldn’t afford to waste time dwelling on events thus far, but wound up doing so anyway as she searched out something comfortable enough for her to wear.
‘It’s not too bad right now.’ She sought to make the best of her situation. ‘Overlook the fur, muzzle, feet and tail and it isn’t as bad as it could’ve been. I mean, I’m not shitting out of my breasts anymore so that’s something.’
A few minutes later and she had something that was up to the task, an easy to slip on dress that came to below her knees. ‘This’ll do. And at least it hides the worst of my problems.’ She thought, referring to her diaper that she still needed thanks to those Fortune Cookies that Kyle had cooked up.
One thing that did catch her notice, she couldn’t find any footwear. Despite searching around the room, there were none to speak of. She could only assume that she never needed any as she was, and with reality adjusting to accommodate the effects, it was likely that she’d never had any now.
Breakfast went well enough, though she had to deal with a new mouth that made chewing more difficult, and constantly having to watch herself to avoid doing anything that might weird her only real friends out.
“So where are we heading today?” Katie asked.
“The Mall today, have to get a few things, and Jenny here needs to deal with shopping.” Susan replied.
“Sorry?” Jenny found herself asking.
“Your parents are away until at least Friday, and I noticed your pantry’s running low.” That was true enough, she did need to think about getting food into the house soon. “But are you sure you’ll be comfortable enough?”
“I’ll manage.” Jenny replied, a little more cheerful than she expected given the situation.
Heading out, Jenny still needed to handle carrying her own mess with her, but it wasn’t too bad at the moment. What she needed in her purse and enough of a breeze as they drove to keep her cool and she was soon able to properly relax.
The Mall in Glendale was notably larger than the one in Daleglen, though didn’t have as many of the leisure facilities that the latter enjoyed, making up for that with plenty in the way of fashion and retail shops and a few good places for meals. As they entered the Mall, Jenny started believing that perhaps this day could go rather well for her, actually.
