Tim hadn't opened the case of vials, didn't trust them despite the tickling feeling in the back of his brain that told him to do just that. He didn't ask for them, and he certainly didn't know what they were. They had just arrived, from some unknown party and he didn't like it.
But he couldn't bring himself to just throw them away. Something told him he would need them. That they were important. What it was, he didn't know, but he could not dispose of the box no matter how much common sense told him he should. So he had gone about his day as usual, getting ready for work at the ad agency when he checked his messages.
"Huh," he frowned, tilting his head. His boss didn't want him to come in today? Gave him the day off? That was weird. He glanced over to the box of vials, which sat unopened on the chair by the front door. Did that box have something to do with it? Weird.
He was just about to remove his tie when a knock sounded out at the door, startling him. Mary? Panda? Was he hearing things right? What was going on? Hesitantly, he opened the door, and upon first sight, stared slack jawed.
"Oh, you haven't changed," the panda woman, the NAKED panda woman said with a pout and tilt of her head. And that mouse woman behind her... Louise. What was going on?
"I'm dreaming," he muttered, slapping a hand to his forehead. "Shouldn't have eaten that pizza last night..."
"Sorry, Tim, if anyone's dreaming, it's me. I've already decided that," Mary said with a laugh. "So what's the deal? Why haven't you tried it out? Or did you and you decided to change back?"
"It's safe, you know," Louise chimed in with a wave.
"Safe? The box? What does... I haven't even..." Suddenly he averted his eyes.
"What?" Mary asked.
"You're uh... Naked, and furry..."
"Ya like it?" Mary asked with a teasing smirk.
"Uh, well... I mean... Um..."
"Hey, Louise, how about you go on ahead, and we'll catch up later?" Mary had a devious smirk that Tim wasn't sure he liked the implications of.
"Alrighty. Don't do anything too crazy now."
"Honey, we changed species with a Magic potion. Crazy has already happened."
"Good point," Louise said. "Have fun!"
And then Louise was gone, and Mary slipped inside Tim's apartment, closing the door behind her.
"So here's the deal, Tim," Mary said, stepping forward as Tim backed away. "I'm getting some vibes off of you here, so what's it gonna take to talk you into panda-ing it up? I am so in the mood it's not even funny."
