Jared barked angrily, his lips curling back to create a snarl. Kevin looked down at him with a laugh, finding the dog collar and quickly putting it around his neck. Jared was shocked, he couldn't even understand why he had let him put the collar on him. He change out of his small clothes and into a pair of jeans, a muscle shirt, and even a pair of Andrew's underwear.
"Come on boy!" Kevin said happily, heading out the bedroom door. Jared for some reason happily followed; why was he so willing to obey? He couldn't figure it out but right now he was just happy to be going somewhere with his master.
Kevin walked down the sidewalk in his new body, marveling at his new physique and stature. He was tall and strong and he had the dog of his dreams. He always wanted to be like Andrew and now he could, for forever now. He didn't care what his parents would do when "Kevin" went missing; as long as he had this body, he was happy.
When they reached the park Andrew barked ecstatically, running around the park and going up to people for a pat on the head. Kevin laughed at him, realizing the medallion must alter the mind a bit. His mind stayed in tact though, none of Andrew's previous memories entering his. Andrew continued running around the park until he heard a whistle, it was coming from Kevin and he leaped towards him; however, when he saw the medallion poking out of Kevin's pocket, he lunged towards it, startling Kevin to the ground.
Andrew grabbed the medallion and ran away as fast as he could, however he stopped almost instantly as Kevin yelled, "Stop!"
Andrew skidded to a stop, and began whining, "Argh... Curse these stupid dog thoughts..." Andrew thought as Kevin walked over to him and pocketed the medallion.
"Bad dog, /bad/ dog." Kevin scolded him, Andrew's ears flattening and tail going under his legs. He was paralyzed by his kid brother's commands; he'd be stuck like this unless Kevin wanted him to change.
"Lets go home boy. I think you've had enough fun for today." Kevin said as he headed back home, Andrew reluctantly following him from behind. Kevin opened the front door, heading upstairs to his new room, Andrew followed up the stairs closely behind.
"Well... Now that you're my dog, and I'm now you, I think you need a new name, boy." Andrew said as he stripped down to his underwear and laid on his new bed, the medallion in his hand. "How about... Rex or Rover? Maybe Ris? Oh, I know! Your new name is Rocky." Kevin said with a smile.
As if on cue the medallion glowed, altering Andrew's thoughts. Now he was no longer Andrew by Rocky the dog; he remembered some of his past life but now most of his thoughts were a dog's. Kevin's mind changed too, he couldn't ever remember being himself and only knew anything Andrew did. He remembered trying out for football and working out with his friends.
As there minds settled the medallion stopped glowing, the new Andrew looked at the thing, wondering how it got there and simply tossed it on his night stand. Rocky jumped on the bed to be near his master as the both slowly fell asleep.
