Jamie entered the next room. She was still in disbelieve that only moments ago she was a full size mouse but knew there wasn't time to worry about that if she wanted to save Brad.The next room was a lot different from the first. This room was a plain silver room with only one exit at the opposite she came in. Jamie walked up to this exit a saw that it was a slope almost like a slide leading into darkness Jamie also noticed that on the walls there were several wooden spikes pointing upwards.
"I can't slide down there, I'll get impaled" Jamie began pacing around the room think of another solution "What I'm I going to do?" Jamie was so lost in concentration that she almost missed the change her body went through. Jamie looked down and gasped. A hard turtle shell was covering her torso stopping at her arm and leg joints. The shell must of grew over her shortalls and tee shirt because cause there was no trace of them, Jamie looked like a full grown naked women wearing nothing but a turtle shell.
"Wow this is wild! Why is this happening to me?" Jamie started feeling her shell. It was hard like a rock, suddenly Jamie got an idea. "If I go into my shell before sliding down the slope maybe that will be enough to protect me". Jamie tried to go into her shell to see if it was possible but it didn't work, after several failed attempts she decided to take a break.
Jamie took a seat in the corner "Hmmm in the last room it took me almost two hours before I became a mouse and could find the cheese, maybe I have to wait for these change as well". Jamie waited for half an hour before her suspicions were confirmed. Jamie's hair started falling out in clumps all over the floor. "Ohhhhh nooooooooo, myyyyyyy, haaaaaaaaaair!" Jamie's voice was low and slow as she struggled to get words out. Jamie grabbed for her make up mirror before she realized she couldn't get it. It was in the front pocket her overalls after all and that was under her shell. Instead Jamie brought her hands to her face to see if she could feel any changes. First off she felt that she was now bald and that her ears had melded into the side of her head leaving nothing but holes in the place. Next she brought her hand to her face a felt that her nose and mouth had merged into somewhat of a beak.
"I guuuuuueeeeeeessss I shoooooooould give this anoooouther shot" Jamie tried to go into her shell again but still no luck sat back down and continued waiting out her changes.
The next hour did a lot to Jamie. first she felt her teeth recede into her gums and her tongue become long and thin. Next a small tail dropped from the bottom of Jamie's shell and grew roughly five inches long. Finally Jamie's arms and legs grew more thicker and flexible while her skin took on a more rough texture more fitting for a reptile. "Ariiiiiiiight here goooooooes nooooothing" Jamie said as she stuck her head inside her shell. It was dark inside and Jamie could see nothing, after couple seconds Jamie popped her head back out. "I diiiiiiid it, I diiiiid it!" Jamie yelled. She slowly (as fast as she could) made her way to the beginning of the slope and sat down. She sucked her arms, legs and head into her shell before rocking herself over edge.
Jamie couldn't see anything but she could feel herself moving fast down the slide. Every once in a while she could feel a wooden spike hit her shell a break off from the wall. guess I was right to wait out these changes Jamie thought to herself. Eventually Jamie felt the ground level out and she began to slow down and stop. Jamie figured she was at the bottom so she decided to me out. At the bottom of the slope Jamie found herself in another silver hallway, at the end of which was another pedestal with the second key. "The keeeeey!" Jamie wasso excited she ran to the end of the hallway even though she couldn't even get faster then someone walking and grabbed the key at the end of the hallway. Once again there was a bright flash of light and she was transported back to the main room.
Jamie inspected her body taking the mirror out of her overalls and confirmed she was back to normal. "My name is Jamie." she said to test her voice and was pleased to see it returned to the same pitch and speed. Jamie put the second key into the Brad statue. "Don't worry ad I'm going to get us out of this" Jamie smiled before heading to the next door.
