Gritting his teeth, Joel plunged the syringe into his arm, emptying its contents into his blood stream. In a few short seconds the process was over, and Joel was left to wonder exactly what he just did. Eager to see the results of his serum, Joel quickly stripped off his clothes and looked in a mirror he had brought down with him, waiting for the changes to begin. After a couple of minutes, he disappointingly glared at the half empty bottle of serum sitting on the table. The changes should have been nearly instantaneous, or at least that's what his calculations told him should have happened.
He was about to give up hope when a wave of vertigo and nausea overcame him suddenly. Joel staggered backwards, nearly falling down at the sensation. Once the vertigo had passed, he blinked his eyes repeatedly. The whole world appeared to be nothing but a blur behind his glasses. Grinning, he removed them, and smiled even wider when the world came into perfect focus. He almost laughed as he waited for the next set of changes to take place. A few more moments passed, and Joel was beginning to get frustrated, thinking that it couldn't be over. He should be turning into the perfect man, getting more muscular, getting taller...
As soon as that thought crossed his mind a wave of uncertainty went over him. Glancing over at the mirror, he noticed it appeared a bit larger. He wasn't getting taller, he realized, he was getting smaller. He quickly looked down just as he saw the paltry amount of body hair he had on his body cleanly fall out as if it were never even there. His arms grew somewhat thinner, but were nicely toned. But it was in his hands that the biggest change occured, as his fingers became longer and more petite, and his nails grew out ever so slightly.
Racking his brain over this latest development, he looked back in the mirror in horror as his hair lightened to a sandy blonde color and began to grow out of his head at an alarming rate. The skin on his face smoothed out, and his nose shrank down into a small protrusion. He could feel his underdeveloped Adam's Apple shrink into nothingness, and a quick moan verified that his voice was now a higher, feminine pitch. His waist began to taper inward, while his hips simultaneously flared outward, giving him a nice hourglass figure. His legs became long and shapely, his feet smaller and more dainty. A tingling in his chest began to grow, and Joel could only watch as a large pair of breats began to grow out of his chest. He clamped his hands on them, almost moaning at the sensitivity of the area around his growing nipples, before feeling another tingle in his lower regions. Looking in the mirror, he caught the last remnants of his testicles being sucked into his body, as his penis withered away and left a vagina in its wake. Tentatively, Joel stuck on finger into his new equipment, and immediately recoiled at the alien sensations the new organ was creating in his body.
Or more accurately, in her body, as the feelings of change began to subside, Joel took stock of her situation. The serum had worked...kind of. No one would confuse her for that nerd she had been a few moments earlier. But what could she do about an identity now? She didn't know the first thing about being a woman, let alone a drop dead gorgeous one. And what if the changes weren't done yet?
Finally, Joel decided what her next course of action should be...
