Fuck it, you decide. All these choices are obviously horrible. You'll take you chances and find out what it means to "lose". Perhaps that's the only way out of this.
You stare at the count down on the screen and allow it to count down from 20 all the way to zero.
You look at the screen waiting to see what happens. But instead, you hear the sound of air vents. That yellow mist is now flooding YOUR room. In desperation you hold your breath, but you can only hold it so long. You can't help but take a gasp, breathing in the noxious fumes. You cough and cough, feeling yourself get light headed. A sudden extreme pain in your spine. But unconsciousness takes hold and you feel no more...
You don't know how much time has passed. Everything is spinning, your head cloudy. You try to open your eyes... to realize, wait, you can't open them. Your eyes are already opened. You can't blink!
Your vision is strange, and your body feels strange. Where are you legs? You can't feel your arms! You only feel your body. Your very looong body. You try to turn and look at yourself, only to find that you're held down. You can only rock your head slightly. You feel an extension of your spine writhing freely as well. Your tail.
You're body is stuck inside a tube, with only your head and tail sticking out. No arms, no legs. A snake. A snake like the one that tried to eat your brother. You flick your tongue out instinctively, sampling the air.
Suddenly, a pressure behind your jaws, as a hand grabs you tightly behind the head. You squirm futilely, the tube preventing any effective movement. You sense movement as you're being carried and held in the air, dangling like a wet noodle.
With your long distance vision all but zero, you can only see directly in front of you. Something comes into view. Brown. Furry. A rat! You're being held face to face with Mike, who seems to be squirming just as helplessly as you. You see some kind of rope wrapped around him, keeping his limbs tied to his side, almost like a rotisserie chicken, only his worm-like tail whipping back and forth.
You stare at each other for several moments, before the hand behind your jaw increases it pressure and forces your jaw open. Expert fingers force your jaw to unhinge. In terror you try to squirm free but you're completely immobilized. You feel something wet touch your darting tongue, realizing in horror that it's Mike's nose. Mike is brought closer into your maw, and you want to gag as you feel his pointed face push up against the back of your throat. But you no longer have a gag reflex. Instead, you reflexively swallow, pulling the rat's head deeper into your throat.
You desperately try to spit out but are incapable of doing so. Every time you try to tell your body to regurgitate, you only swallow more. Involuntarily you swallow slowly, despite your mental protestations. Mike's squeals become dull inside you as his head is now past your throat, his furry body slipping deeper and deeper inside. Soon only his tail is left sticking out of your mouth, writhing around like an angry strand of spaghetti. You feel the tail whipping the inside of your mouth in once last struggle as the last of few inches disappear inside your throat.
Eventually you're put down and placed within a glass terrarium. You curl up into a ball mournfully noticing the large lump in your midsection. Then a loud voice plays overhead, the same voice you first heard at the beginning of the game.
"You lose".
