A strange, tingling sensation cut Jen short, starting out at her body's core before forcing its way up her body. What might either be a split-second or several seconds later, the sensation split into two ways before changing into a pushing feeling at the side/top of her head.
"What the...," the girl muttered, reasing her hands to the source of the bizarre feeling. What she felt there was not something she had ever felt before; two small, lightly pointy bumps were growing on her head, somehow forcing their way through her skin without even the slightest bleeding. Not much later, the bumps had grown into full-blown slightly curved horns.
<Oh, God, no. No no no! This isn't possible! This is just a nightmare or something! It has to be! People don't grow... horns all of a sudden! That just doesn't happen!>
"Uhm, Jen? Is something wrong?," Lara asked, her head quizically tilted. Apparently she either didn't notice the fact that the person next to her had suddenly grown cow horns or simply didn't care for whatever reason.
The shock of the moment understandably caused Jennifer to snap at her friend. "What do you mean, 'is something wrong', Laura?! I've grown horns, for God's sake!" Luckily for her, this was not enough to trigger the ffects of the curse.
"...Wait, is that what all the buzz is about? Everyone knows about that birth defect, and aside from a couple of jerks nobody really cares."
Once again, Jennifer was driven mute for a second. Not only did she just spawn cow horns for some godforsaken reason, somehow reality shifted so that nobody as much as batted an eye at it. How... Wait a minute.
'Each time you insult, gossip about, bully or are otherwise mean against anyone who didn't deserve it, you will slowly turn into a cow'
Oh. My. God. The curse was real. The curse /is/ real! If she wasn't careful, she was going to change into a cow! A stupid, mindless beast! The very thought made Jennifer shudder. But.. apparently nobody else thought it was weird. In fact, they seemed to think it was strange that /she/ thought it was strange, which was almost more insane than the fact she was turning into a farm animal.
"Y-yeah. You're right. Sorry about that. I... don't know what came over me," Jennifer lied. It sounded about as convincing as trying to tell someone that the earth is flat, causing Laura's expression to change fron inquiring to worried.
"Say, are you sure that everything is all right?," her friend asked. "You know you can tell me everything, right?"
"Yeah, I'm sure. Really, there's nothing." <I'm going to kill that asshole Kyle for this. Not before he changes me back though. First changing, then killing. Asshole.>
