Luke stood watching the counrtyside roll by as he looked between the slats of the research facility truck. The warm breeze rushing over his wool covered skin tingled and eased his fear.
The front gate was reached by as the guards looked into the bed of their truck the man-ram was curled up into a ball, sound asleep.
"Al, I can't believe why or how those who enter these tests can lose their humanity with such calmness. He's sound asleep and looks like he'd been born as a ram, just look!" said one of the guards.
"I suggest you keep those thoughts to yourself less Doctor Frank has you helping out into one of his experiments too!" replied Al the senior guard.
A few minutes later and the truck backed into an unloading dock. Doctor Frank was there and with his two assistants Luke still sleeping was unloaded. Doctor Frank injected a seditive to keep the new ram sound asleep for the final injections.
At last and slowly Luke opened his eyes and saw he was inside the Doctor's lab. Pushing himself up with strange feeling hands and arms he struggled to pick his legs up as well. Then even as he sniffed the air and found hundreds of scents he'd never noticed before Doctor Frank entered the Lab.
"Ah, good day young Luke your looking just perfect and ready for testing!" announced doctor Frank.
Luke heard the words but they seemed odd and almost totally outside his realm of knowledge. Cocking his head he tried to study the words and make some sense out of all that was occuring.
The Doctor laughed, "I see your reduced cranium has also decreased the brain's functions to almost those of a three year old Ram. I'll try to be cautious over the course of the study to keep the hormone from deducing those brain cells to less than human standards, well lets start!" said the Doc as Luke stood quiet and watched.
