Allison nibbled onto her thumbnail, hazel eyes grinning. She pondered the host of punishments available at her beckoning. A spell here, a hushed incantation there. One by one, she dismissed them. Life in a cage? Too dull. Banishing him from humanity forever? Been there; done that. Finding a surrogate predator? Who could she turn that deserved it? Allison cursed such an act, allowing someone vile enough to be denied their life yet worthy enough to terrorize another.
"Hmmm," Allison sighed.
Robert's flails prove futile against the witch's grasp, his senses doubly charged from his new rodent form hung upside-down.
"I think it's time I have a little fun, don't you think so, Robert? You wanted a video of some sex with a Hollywood star, so I think it's fair I only get a video of some quality time with a nameless rat."
Robert chattered his teeth in confusion, his initial squeak cut-short as the witch tossed him to the mattress. Allison chuckled, watching Robert sail through the air like a furry tennis ball before plumping right onto his former pillow.
"Don't worry; I won't just squash you. What would be the fun in that?"
Allison crept onto the foot of the mattress, reveling in Robert's thrashing to jump upright.
"No, Robbie, something special for a special rat that decided to show his true colors."
She squinted in concentration, sliding her knees onto the bed.
"Something...purr-fect."
The witch couldn't believe herself for such a forced pun, but, considering the cowering mass a few feet away, she didn't have time to slap herself. Still, the surprise wouldn't be hidden for long, her lips twinging with magic.
Robert's cries sank after his third fruitless attempt at walking. Huddling back onto his former spot, he inhaled, catching the strange scent. Himself. His former self. And something new? Allison, no. Something. A predator! He blinked, seeing Allison, clad in her makeshift shirt and shorts, inch toward him. Her pupils fluctuated into an unfamiliar emerald hue and shape. His instincts froze him as her face elongated, grey fur spreading from her neck over his dark nostrils. Robert squeaked, inching up the pillow's face toward the headboard. He watched Allison slip from her shorts, her rear legs dwindling in girth and size. A tail etched out of her spine like a tendril of smoke, its new flexibility twitching and twirling. Robert, thankful for her dip in size, panicked when her front legs, lithe and thumb-less, bore their claws. With a mew, Allison shuddered into the confines of her shirt, poking her now feline torso out the neck-hole. Her eyes glinted with Robert's movements.
Robert, seeing death on his own bed...
