Hard to believe I didn't change anything on my 45-minute walk, Zack thought. Well, I guess I was distracted thinking about my new life.
He turned his attention back to the giant TV on the wall. A little bit disappointed in the picture quality, he said, "All TV shows and movies look good on this thing."
He had just instantly upgraded all the world's TV cameras, video servers, satellites, and even lighting and makeup, but all he could see is that the picture got a bit better. He sighed, though. I guess I could mess with some of the shows, but that would just be fan fiction, and there's already plenty of that online.
He turned off the TV -- of course he knew exactly what buttons to press on the giant universal remote that controlled the video system -- and thought about what to do.
He thought about his memories of parties at this house, and of sex at this house and elsewhere, but what good were memories? He had a lot of options.
Or he could go out to have some reality-altering fun -- he knew he had a car in the garage, and this was a decent-sized city, so he had a lot of options there, too.
