Katie took a deep breath and stared at her reflection in the Magic Shop mirror. The beast before her was magnificent, everything she had wished her to be....and the creature was her. Her young unicorn heart thudded in her powerful chest as she lifted one golden hoof then another. A gentle snort and whinny lilted from her maw as she turned to nuzzle into the shopkeeper. Katie knew and felt how wonderful this was, yet now in being Unicorn, her very soul had begun to change. She was now one with the magical world, and she knew and felt it. She realized now how much she could accomplish, how many dreams she could fulfil with -her- little ring, all thanks to this man.
"I want to learn more, Merlin." She said. "I want you to teach me!"
"Of course, that is part of our deal now after all," Merlin said. "My shop will be open to you whenever you wish it, all you need to do is wish to be here. You can change to anything or change anything without fear." he glanced up at the clock. "My how time flys though, I do believe your 'mother' will be getting out of school soon. She'll be expecting you.
Katie nodded and made another wish, a wish she knew and felt was the right one. As the unicorn features drifted away, she was left in the body of her adult self, but now she wore pink converse sneakers instead of the adult shoes she'd worn earlier. She leaned over to kiss merlin on the cheek. "Thank you."
The old man chuckled and blushed. "Dont mention it, now off you go!"
There was a rush and suddenly she was sitting in her car outside her old school. A swarm of kids was coming out, and among them she saw Kelly and two of her old friends. Both were her old age of course, Katie was surprised in a way to see a wide smile on her mothers face. "Mom Mom! Can Mika and Sammy come over to play this afternoon?"
"Puleeese" The first girl said. Mika was a preetty asian girl, something of a tomboy though. Claudia was quite the opposite, a brown haired girl with bright blue eyes wearing a dress.
