Maria had inclinations of romantic interest in other girls, but she never made it public. When she looked at Cheryl earlier, it was a lingering stare she hoped would go unnoticed. Alas, it did not, as following third period, she went to the bathroom and found Cheryl waiting for her outside the stall.
"I saw how you looked at me back there." she said.
"I... I wasn't staring, honest." Maria replied.
"You're a terrible liar, Maria." Cheryl said.
"I'm sorry if I offended you; it won't happen again!"
"It will," Cheryl said, moving closer, "and I'd like it to."
"Wha?" Maria backed away, only to be stopped by the stall door.
"What if I told you there was much more to me than meets the eye?" Cheryl continued. "And not just because I'm into girls."
"What do you mean by that?"
"It's easier if I just show you." Cheryl took a few steps back, took off her shirt, and turned to the side. she tucked her hair behind her ears which suddenly grew longer and pointed. A pair of stalks sprouted out of her forehead and her back stretched out. with a gasp from Cheryl, her back exploded into two pairs of beautiful violet butterfly wings.
Maria was shocked. "You're a... f-f-fa-aair-ryyy!"
"Yes, I am a fairy." She moved back closer to Maria. "And, I can easily bestow such a gift upon you."
