"Well, time to clean out Chad's locker, since he won't need it any more. Maybe I can find a souvenir?" Josh said as he closed the refrigerator door on the bottled Chads.
Ricky had been working out in the weight room, and saw Josh with a cardboard box in front of Chad's team locker.
"Hey, Josh, what's going on?"
"Huh, oh, hey, Ricky. Chad ditched practice one to many times. Coach said last time that if he missed one more time he'd be off the team, and I should clean out his locker. Well, he missed."
"Dude, Chad will pound you if he finds out you touched his stuff, and the coach will keep him on the team. He's the best player. Coach always says he's going to kick Chad, but he never does."
"He did this time," Josh answered.
"For now, but when Chad shows up it'll be a different story," Ricky warned.
Josh smiled and shook his head, as he distastefully discovered that the garment he was holding was Chad's athletic supporter.
"Ew, don't think the boy ever washed this. You want it, Ricky, I know you're crushing on Chad," Josh said tossing the wadded up stinky jockstrap at Ricky's face.
He caught it just as it hit his face. He hoped it obscured his expression as he inhaled Chad's scent. Josh was right, Chad gave Ricky a chubby. He always had. But to Chad, he was just his good bud Ricky. But that was good enough for Ricky.
"Hey, Josh, if you're going to dump his stuff - I'll take all of it. He may not pound you, if he knows I kept it for him."
"Well, it's really supposed to stay in my custody, but since Chad will never be using it again, be my guest."
"What do you mean by that, Josh? Even if Chad is off the team, he can still wear his work out gear."
Josh didn't know why he told Ricky, maybe it was to see him squirm, and because he didn't think Ricky wanted anyone to know how he really felt about Chad. Besides Chad was beyond help now.
"Ricky, I'll tell you a secret. At tomorrow's practice, Chad will be there. Not just in spirit, but in the bottles of sports drink. I liquidated the jock - well, really Chad did it to himself. He actually thought he had a date with the coach's daughter. Anyway, you can drink him to your hearts content tomorrow."
"What? You turned him into liquid? Show me!"
"Ricky, it's irreversible, but if you want to see for yourself, I made a video while it was happening," Josh said handing Ricky his phone after starting the video.
