I woke up on a bus. Ruby was sitting next to me, a concerned look on her face.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"I don't know." Continuing to look out the window, I looked around us, at the other occupants of the vehicle.
Every other person was an anthro. There were 17 humans, including the driver, and each one was paired with an anthro.
"Why are there so many anthros?" I thought out loud.

Suddenly it dawned on me. The rabbit had a ring on his finger.
"You... married a human, didn't you?" A girl peered over the seat. "Hello!" She said, cheerfully.
"This is my wife, Mary." The rabbit said proudly. "She's a great one, i'll tell you that!"
Oddly enough, Mary had one green eye, and one blue eye. "So, what's your name?" Ruby asked.
"Ah, so our dear madam finally joins the conversation." He laughed. "Name's Jack. But you can call me Jack." He kept laughing, as did Mary.
"So, the rumours are true? We're being taken away?" Jack calmed down a bit. "No shit, sherlock. I heard they're gonna exile us to an island in the atlantic."
"And you're sitting here, cracking jokes?"
"Well, yeah. Long as i'm with Mary, I don't care. After all, I'm still with my sweetheart, ain't I?"
"Yeah, but me and Ruby, we didn't want to marry each other! We were both drunk!"
"Oh, well, sorry, but hey, got a nice lady to spend your life with, huh? What could be better?" And with that, he turned back to his wife.
"I'm sorry I dragged you into this, Rick." Ruby sighed and gazed out the window. "I didn't want to get you hurt, but now, we're in the hands of the government."
