Brett. A vaguely 20 something that was physically fit, and proud of it. He worked as a programmer, but he felt like a caged animal most of the time while he went about his daily activities. His thick legs, grey fur and yellow eyes marked him as an individual who hailed from the western part of Europe, and from the canis family tree. Not so much a player, but he had been in a few unsuccessful relationships, none of which he had ever brought to his bed.
Brett, looked at the clock. It was Saturday, and he was once again left to ponder his reason for working. He found himself staring at the bright red LEDs indicating that the time was now half 5. Who would be knocking so persistantly at his door? Rubbing the dazed half sleep from his eyes he closed the display on his laptop shutting down the netflix that had been running some foreign flick. His tongue felt dry and he moistened it with the half empty diet coke bottle next to him on his way to the door.
Yes?

The package was strange. Sealed in shrinkwrap with caution stickers indicating the correct direction from which to open the container set it aside in his mind a lot more than he thought anything he had ordered would have needed. A strange little thing. His curiosty bested his morality as he read the inscription indicating that it wasn't for him.
Knife.
Clear desk.
setup.
Minutes later he was pouring through the documents on the device. Nothing made any sense. Physical alterations? The implications of the instructions made it seem that what he was looking at could alter reality in way that defied anything he could bear to wrap his mind around. After a moment he got the idea that maybe they have some fancy surgery machine somewhere that this transfers a full body scan to. Brett decided to leave it disconnected from the network just in case. Aiming the device at him he ran the first scan. His body popped up on the display. For not having a camera the device reproduced him remarkably accurately. Seeing his back side displayed in such a way he realized that he had let himself go. Chuckling he looked through the settings.
