(This is a redone version of a story I started in the regular CYOTF story. This version includes fixed grammar and maybe a few other surprises. The original didn't get a lot of additions, so I don't know if anything will change. There are options for both male and female, depending on the reader's preference.)
The start of a new semester. Dreaded by students everywhere. With extreme difficulty, you rolled yourself out of bed, got dressed, ate breakfast, and boarded the bus.
Your first class was one you signed up for a while back. Your grades weren't doing great, and you had to take an "elective class" in order to raise them. You picked one titled "Transformations" at random, assuming it was a math or science class. However, to your surprise, you discovered it was about actual animal transformations. You assumed it was about its portrayal in media and other stuff like that, you didn't think there'd be any real transformations. Besides, it was either that or advanced calculus.
Today was the day of your first class. It was on the bottom floor, in a classroom far away from the rest of the rooms that hadn't looked like it had been used in years. You walked in and saw the room looked like a typical science lab, but with desks spread out in an orderly fashion. There were a few animal posters put up, including one that said "Find the Real You". Thinking nothing of it, you found your desk and sat down.
Soon, the bell had rung and the rest of the students had seated. A woman who looked to be in her mid-30's with brunette hair styled in a ponytail, wearing a light blue shirt and khaki pants. "Good morning, class!" she said in a chipper tone. "Welcome to your first day of transformations class! My name is Ms. Tomlin. I can tell we'll have a 'howling' good time!" The class started out normally, Ms. Tomlin took attendance, she went over the class rules. Finally, she stepped up to the board, ready to give a lesson. "Now that we're all set, we can begin!" she announced. "Today's lesson will be about..."
