After their meal, you aided Tulipelle in washing the dishes. The bluebells rang, Tulipelle answered the door and you saw a fairy with deep blue hair, regal looking clothing, and a violet star-shaped jewel on her forehead, much like the queen's. She was flanked by a pair of guards. Tulipelle performed the formal greeting to a royal fairy and you followed suit. "Princess Ivyanna!" Tulipelle said.
"I've just returned form a diplomatic mission to the human kingdom of Sirul to hear word of a new changeling in our queendom, and a magical prodigy, no less."
"Uh, yeah, I guess that would be me" You said, embarrassed."
"Rise." The Princess commanded to the two of you as she entered the house, the guards remaining outside. She walked over to you and looked you over. "So, the much talked about Irisette MoonGolw; is it true you were once a human man?"
"Yes."
"Your new life is a blessed gift from the Goddesses. Never forget this."
"I won't your highness."
"The criminal Jovek, how did you defeat him?"
"Well, it wasn't me, actually. Me and my heartfriend just distracted him long enough for the witch Sandra to take him down."
"Ah, yes. Well, if you ask me, she was a fool to turn down fairyhood."
"I'm sure she felt she'd be happier the way she is."
"And do you feel happier as a fairy?"
"I love being a fairy! Tulipelle's been a big help adjusting me to my new life. She's even teaching me magic."
"I've been giving her a crash course to prepare her for our impending training to become enchantresses." Tulipelle added.
"Ah, so you have accepted my mother's offer." Ivyanna said with a smile. "Wonderful! Have you determined Irisette's knack yet?"
"Not yet, your highness. I was planning on getting her tested tomorrow. Today was... tiring, to say the least."
"Well, I look forward to the news. Also, when the time comes, I shall personally oversee your move into the palace."
"We're moving to the palace?" You asked.
"Of course," the princess said, "all enchantresses live at the palace." She turned to Tulipelle. "You never told her?"
"It was such a great honor, that detail must've slipped my mind." Tulipelle said. "It's funny, we just had a shipment of new clothes for Irisette brought over today, and now it seems we'll be shipping them to the palace."
"Yes, that is amusing. Oh, but I must be going now. I look forward to seeing more of you once you're ready to begin your enchantress training." With that, Princess Ivyanna exited the house. the two of you witnessed her enter a carriage and watched it fly off before re-entering the house and continuing with the dishwashing.
"Is it just me, or was she a little TOO interested in me?" You asked Tulipelle.
"She was just curious; after all, you have proven yourself to be exceptional, so far. Besides, she is your princess now, too; of course she would want to meet her newest subject. You see, the royal fairies are not shy to interact with their people. They are taught from a young age to respect their subjects and to get to know them to better serve them."
"I see..."
