Benjamin woke up from the sleep the scientist have put them next to his classroom partners on a grassy field. 14 boys and 13 girls in total, he knew for he was class representative, all waking up completely confused of how did they ended up there.
"Ben, dude!" called Reggie his best friend, and member of the basketball team. "Do you know where we are?"
"Yeah where the fuck are we?" said Chris, the class bully, who was held back a year, and therefore was bigger than the others.
"The last I remember is that we were going to have a demonstration." said Lisa, a geeky girl.
"EXACTLY!" boomed a voice from nowhere, and the sky turned dark. "You are all here for my little demonstration, of my new project. A new reality!" The moon appeared from behind the clouds and shockingly it had face that spoke to them.
"I remember now, you are the scientist guy!" said Benjamin.
"What do you mean new reality?" inquired Sophie. quite the girl.
"WELL FOR ALL USES AND PURPOSES I CONTROL THE UNIVERSE IN WHICH YOU WALK NOW. HOW I DO IT IS NOT REALLY YOUR CONCERN, ONLY THAT I DO. YOU SEE WE WANT TO SEE HOW PEOPLE WOULD REACT TO DIFFERENT STIMULI, BUT..." He seemed to make a pause before speaking again. "IT DOESN'T MATTER, YOU HAVE A VERY SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY, IN THIS NEW WORLD YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, SHORT OF KILLING EACH OTHER, I WON'T ALLOW THAT. HOWEVER, ANYTHING BUT THAT IS FAIR GAME."
"What do you mean?" asked Reggie.
"THIS WORLD IS LARGE AND DIVERSE, BUT A LITTLE EMPTY, ONLY YOU WILL THREAD ON IT. HOWEVER, IS ALSO QUITE REAL, AND I DECIDED NOT TO INTERFERE WITH THE EXPERIMENT. SO HERE'S THE DEAL. A BIT SOUTH OF WHERE YOU ARE THERE'S A VILLAGE, BARREN AND ALONE. THERE'S A FIELD AND A RIVER WITH CLEAN WATER, AND WITH ENOUGH SUPPLIES TO LAST YOU UNTIL YOU CAN GROW YOUR OWN FOOD. THERE'S BOOKS THERE IN THE MOST LIKELY CASE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO TEND THE LAND."
"You are turning us into farmers?" asked Lola, a queen bee, she and her two friend clique, weren't thrilled with the idea.
"THAT'LL BE BORING WOULDN'T IT. NO, YOU'LL FIND A MAP IN TOWN OF THIS CONTINENT. THERE'S A CROWN, WHOEVER WEARS IT BECOMES KING OR QUEEN AND CAN IN FACT RULE THE UNIVERSE, INCLUDING RETURNING YOU HOME."
"So all we have to do is find this crown and we are able to go home?" asked Benjamin.
"IF YOU WISH. OR YOU COULD SPEND FIVE YEARS HERE, OH BUT DON'T WORRY THE "REAL WORLD", A MERE WEEK WOULD HAVE PASSED THERE, TIME IS BUT AN ILLUSION, BUT I MOST SAY THAT EVERYTHING YOU DO IN HERE IS QUITE REAL, INCLUDING DYING OF HUNGER, YOU WON'T REALLY DIE MIND YOU, BUT IT CAN BE REALLY QUITE THE UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE. AND NOBODY WOULD EVE KNOW. OH BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN TOLD YOU THE BEST PART, I'LL BE GIVING EACH OF YOU A POWER. THERE'S 25 OF YOU SO 3 WOULD HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE GENDERS, 3 WOULD HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE A PERSON YOUNGER, 3 WOULD HAVE THE POWER TO MAKE THEM BIGGER, 3 WOULD HAVE THE POWER TO SWITCH BODIES. AND ONE WILL HAVE THE POWER TO REVERSE THE CHANGES. ONCE A DAY. OF COURSE THAT'S JUST THE BEGINNING THERE'S SO MUCH TO EXPLORE."
Each of them glow whenever an attribute was mentioned, that's how they knew what was their power, and how Benjamin knew he was the one with power to reverse.
