"Stupid Kyle" Jen thought to herself as she opened the door and proceeded towards the bus stop. She couldn't help but scratch her ears on
the way. By the time she made it to the bus stop, her ears stopped itching and she continued thinking about how the day would go. She would
start her day with calculus, then move onto health, then history, then chemistry , then art, English, and lastly gym.
The bus finally arrived and Jen got on. She sat next to her friend Martha, whom immediately started talking to her.
"Hey Jen, how's it going?"
"Terribly."
"Why?"
"You know Kyle, the kid that we always make fun of?"
"Yeah, what about him?"
"He made a freaky phone call this morning, about some curse or something."
"You mean the town curse? The transform or dare curse?"
"Yeah, that's the one."
"Ooh, you better be careful then, I've heard about serious things regarding that curse."
Oh stop it. It's all just a hoax."
"I don't know...what did he tell you anyways?"
"He said some bullshit about being mean to cats or something."
"Well, I guess you better be careful around cats. Better safe than sorry."
"Seriously Martha? You're such an idiot. Stop it with the superstitious crap.." Jen was unconvinced that the curse was real. Martha was never considered too bright and would always buy into
superstitious happenings and the sort. Jen on the other hand did not strongly believe in the superstitious.
"Crazy Kyle." Jen thought to herself as her ears began to itch again.
