Mika used the stone to free Luka by changing him into a barbarian warrior. Unfortunately, as a young, not fully trained wizard, Mika lacked the mental discipline to not allow his own fantasies and desires to affect his transformations. The young barbarian freeing himself from the grasp of the acolyte wasn't just a well muscled, agile specimen--he was Mika's sexual fantasy.
And, as Mika's eyes inevitably slipped to the remarkable bulge in the new Luka's loincloth, the barbarian knew it. He grinned at Mika even as he turned around and struck the acolyte in the shoulder with the new muscles of his powerful arms, knocking her to the ground.
The fight was also turning against the acolytes elsewhere. Princess Tobi placed her fingers on the shrunken ogre, then leaped back as a spark flew from her extended digits to Jak. The shrinking reversed itself even more quickly. Jak stood again a powerful ogre, and placed his powerful body between his princess and her enemies.
The acolytes were nonplussed and intimidated by Jak. Princess Tobi seized her opportunity. "Everyone stop fighting!" she proclaimed. "That means you, Luka! Mika, put the rock away!" (Mika was turning, reluctantly from the new Luka towards the acolytes, hoping to work transformation magic on them.) "Acolytes, we are not your enemies! Let's discuss this like civilized human beings! Oh, and ogres!"

"Wait a second" said Lyra "Audrey, is that you?"
"Sergeant Lyra, as I live and breathe!' responded Audrey.
"I haven't seen you since the Goblin War! So you're still an independent mercenary fighter?"
"And you're still among the armed acolytes of the goddess?"
"What can I say?" Lyra laughed. "They have a good pension plan. But can I ask you a favor?"
"Sure."
Lyra leaned in. "Keep your wizard from reversing the transformation on the stableboy there. Remember Captain Traskol?"
Audrey's eyebrows shot up. "Him, the guy we let the evil wizard turn into a barmaid because he was such a glory-hogging incompetent? Oh, I get it. Will do."
Lyra picked up the protective amulet that had formerly belonged to her captain and had fallen to the stable floor. "Take this" she said to Audrey. "Might come in handy."
