During dinner Luke and Jessica stare at each other, speechless due to what has happened to them because of the game. Now that they are twins they are according to the game, they will be on equal footing if they end up playing any future games against each other. That is if there is going to be any future games now that their mum has confiscated the game.
Once they finished their lunch, mum takes their plates and goes to the kitchen, leaving Luke and Jessica in the Dining room. When she shuts the door Luke looks at Jessica and asks, “What are we going to do now? She’s got the game, who knows what’s going to happen.”
"Well you know mum, she will probably teach us that playing fairly is better than cheating" Jessica explains, jumping down from her chair she heads out of the dining room and into the living room. Luke follows her and they both sit on opposite sofas.
Moments later as Jessica had said their mum walks through into the living room with the game in its box, "Now I seem to remember this game, but can't quite remember how it works, you too can explain to me as we play."
"I thought the game was only 2 player." Luke said inquisitively, shifting around on the sofa to get into a more comfy position.
"Well I doesn't say that on the box", Lana says opening the box to see that there is only two necklaces, she picks up the instructions and says, "This game can be played by more than two players, though the players must take turns to wear the necklaces. There only seems to be the necklaces, where's the rest of the game gone?"
"Oh there’s where the magic comes in, close the box and think of a game, open it again and the stuff will be there for you”, Luke explains.
"Okay" Lana says not quite believing what he said, but she does so anyway. Closing the lid, she thinks of a pack of cards and opens the box to see that in the middle was a pack of cards neatly stacked, waiting for her to pick them up, "Oh" she exclaims picking up the cards and placing them on the table in front of her, as she sits down on the sofa next to Jessica.
"Cool huh?" Luke says.
"Yeah, but how did that happen? I mean the box was empty and then the cards appeared when I opened it again" Lana questions.
"It's like we said, its magic" Jessica reminds her mum.
"Okay what else does it do?" Lana asks.
"Well two of us wear the necklaces then we play the game, who ever wins gets to take something from the other person who's wearing the other necklace." Luke explains, "but don't cheat coz the game knows when you have."
"Okay, well I am going to play the game with you to teach you that its more fun to play fair than it is to cheat." Their mum clarifies.
"We guessed" Jessica says.
"Okay so who's going to wear the necklaces?" Lana asks them.
