Pete quickly tried to cover himself before the camera started filming but being only an inch tall, his clothes were too heavy to move easily. Pete cried, "Why do I have to be a pet? I thought this was a joke."
Josh said, "This was a game and you lost but don't worry. You'll get a chance to play again. When the game asked how often you wanted to play, how did you answer?"
Pete said, "Once an hour."
Josh said, "There you go. Once an hour, you'll have a chance of winning. In the meantime, accept that you lost this time."
Pete said, "Alright but how am I going to find clothes my size?"
Josh said, "Don't worry about it. It's part of the game. The instructions are that any of us who gets transformed must live in accordance with the transformation. That is, if you had become a female, you would have had to live as a female. If you had become a dog, you would have had to live as a dog. As shrunk, you have two choices. You can try to face life on your own as a one foot tall person or you can submit to the care and control of one of us. Either way, we have to film it."
Pete looked at Michelle, "Alright, I'll submit to Michelle."
Rick said, "Oh no you won't. She's my girlfriend."
Josh said, "Relax Rick. Pete is submitting to be Michelle's pet which means that he's your pet too. He's submitting to all of us and just asking that Michelle be his primary master."
After a while, the party broke up and everyone left. Pete had wrapped a handkerchief around himself as a toga and Michelle carried him home in a box. Michelle still didn't play with dolls anymore but she still had some dolls as collectibles. When she got home, she decided to introduce her new doll to her collection. She found a doll that was the same size as Pete and told him, "This will be your girlfriend for a while."
Pete said, "No she won't be. I'm not playing that game."
Michelle said, "Yes you will. You will play the game for the camera." She lifted the camera to film Pete and the doll. "You said you'd submit to me and what I say goes. In fact, let's have you marry this doll. We need wedding clothes."
Michelle quickly stripped the doll and said, "I don't have any wedding clothes. I'll have to go to the store and buy some. You look ridiculous in that toga." Michelle yanked it off Pete.
As Pete tried covering himself, he yelled, "Don't film me naked."
Michelle said, "You're just a doll to be played with. I need to figure out what size you are so I can buy you a good fitting tuxedo."
Michelle poked and prodded at Pete measuring him. He tried to fight back so she used some tape to tape his arms and legs out of the way.
Michelle said, "You are certainly an anatomically correct doll. You're not smooth like a normal doll. I may have to use some depilatory to remove some of your hair. Hold on a bit."
Pete screamed in protest as Michelle got the depilatory. His voice was too small to be heard by the neighbors despite his screaming. Michelle came back and spread a light layer of depilatory on Pete and waited the fifteen minutes. When she rinsed the depilatory and Pete's hair away, she suddenly stopped moving.
Pete asked, "Michelle, what's wrong?"
Michelle looked down at her suddenly flat chest. Then she looked down further at the new bulge in her crotch. "I should have expected this. I typed that I would play the game once an hour. Apparently the game chose to transform me. I'm male now."
Just then the phone rang. Rick called everyone to gather at Josh's house again for an emergency meeting. Michelle didn't bother to dress Pete her doll.
When they were all gathered together, Rick took the lead and said, "I did some calculating. I took all the numbers from the game and I have bad news for most of us. When I registered to play the game, I thought I was being smart. I set myself up to only be transformed about one day out of four but it turns out Michelle did better than me. She will be transformed about one month out of three but she can win more than $700.00 per year just by playing this game. I can only win about $29.00 per year. However the rest of you are screwed."
Rick continued, "Todd and Julie, you're screwed because you aren't risking enough. You can't win big unless you risk a little bigger. Julie, you can only win about $2.00 per year and Todd, you are playing it so safe that you can't win anything at all. You're tiny little risk is worthless. You should change how you registered in this game so you can win as much as Michelle. I'm thinking of changing my registration for that reason."
Rick continued, "Josh and Pete, you're screwed but for a different reason. You'll win big but you won't get much chance to spend your winnings. Pete, you'll win about $14,000.00 per year and Josh will win over $100,000.00 per year. But each of you registered for transformation durations of a week and that you'll play the game once an hour. After doing some calculations, I figured out that each of you will be transformed one hundred and sixty eight percent of the time. That means, Pete, you're going to be someone's pet for the rest of your life. You'll be a wealthy pet but you'll always be one foot tall."
Pete protested, "We've got to do something. We've got to change our registrations."
Rick turned to Josh and asked, "Can we change our registrations?"
